Just for your information, a vast majority of the budget amendments you are referencing are due to the fact that the CVRD received a number of federal/provincial grants in recent months and the 2017 budget needs to be amended to reflect the additional funds we have received and the associated expenditures. This is a good news story for the CVRD and does not result in significant tax increases for CVRD property owners as your letter suggests.
