Carbon tax rhetoric misleading the masses

All the political rhetoric over the carbon tax is a lot bull misleading the masses.

At $25 a ton, and if gasoline was pure carbon, it would come to about 0.001 cent per litre. Gasoline has a number of formulas, the most accepted is C8H18 burning C8H18 + 12.5 oxygen 8 = 8CO2 + 9H20. The only real advantage is to make people aware of the their contribution to global warming by their use of carbon fuel.
