Born in Park Valley, Saskatchewan, August 14, 1940. Passed away peacefully at Cowichan District Hospital on October 28, 2008, with her loving family by her side.
Predeceased by her parents Harold and Ruth Croteau; children Garry, George and Timothy; brother Philip and sister Linda. Venice is survived by her husband: Garry; son Shawn; daughters Michele (Tim) Rogers and Lori; her grandsons Jordan, Wyatt, Dane, Tristen; and her dog Duffy. Venice is also survived by her siblings Glen (Ann), Yvonne (Mike), Corrine (Neel), and Sonya (Mar); and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
No service by her request. A small family gathering will be planned. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society, 3122 Gibbins Road, Duncan, BC, V9L 1G2 would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Cowichan District Hospital staff and volunteers for all their kindness.
Venice will be sadly missed and in our hearts forever.
