Rendle, Pearl Elizabeth, born Jan. 10, 1912, passed away peacefully at Cairnsmore Place, Duncan BC on Sept. 16, 2003. Predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth in 1991 and by brothers Percy, Norm, Earl (Anna), Kip (Ruth) Gravelle. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Billie Gravelle and many generations of nieces and nephews. Pearl worked for many years as a telephone operator in Lake Cowichan. Was a charter member of the Royal Purple holding the position of Honoured Royal Lady 1963/64 and 1973/74. A memorial tea will be held at the Lake Cowichan Seniors Centre Saturday Sept. 27, 2003 from2-4 pm.
