It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Leaving behind to miss her, her children; Susan (Rene) Compagnon, Peter (Annie) Roberts and Heather Roberts (Rick Kozma), her grandchildren; Erinn (Matt) Martin, Faye (Scott) Johnston, Jeremy (Careese) Roberts, Sean (Kelly) Roberts, step grandson Joe (Jennifer) Edwards, great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; Fyfe and baby to be, Alyssa and Kennedy and Isla and Tanner, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and many good friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband Eric and son Christopher. Her smile and sense of humor and the love for her family will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the doctors and caregivers in Lake Cowichan and Prince George for all of their wonderful care. We would also like to thank everyone at Prince George Rotary Hospice House for their excellent care and love during Mom’s last weeks. A very special thank you to Sister Beverly for her constant support and love. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 11:00am at Christ Our Saviour Parish, 4514 Austin Road West, Prince George, BC. A Memorial Tea to be held in Lake Cowichan, details to be announced at a later date. Mom will be laid to rest in St. James Church cemetery in Summerfield, PEI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations either to the Prince George Hospice House, Canadian Cancer Society or the Children’s Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
