Lorrie passed away peacefully in CDH surrounded by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her partner Pete Wells; children JJ (John), Erin and Brian; grandchildren Ella, Alex and Sienna; stepchildren Meagan and Leah; parents Hank and Rose Henry; sisters Mary Hancock (Greg Hoover), Patty McNamara (Mike), Debbie Brownlow (Ken) and brother Patrick Henry.
Lorrie will be missed by her nieces and nephews Matthew, Mandy, Clinton, Athena, Nick, Shawn, Karlene, Wes, Jocelyne and Nacheala along with several grandnieces and nephews and many good friends.
Lorrie was well known for her generosity and love of fun. Life dealt her some blows that caused her to stumble occasionally but to the end she focused on the positive aspects of her life. She had an amazing capacity for seeing the good in everyone and so often she was a friend to the friendless. Lorrie’s last days were made brighter by her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
