Perry, Elaine
Elaine was born June 8,1928 to Fred and Vera Rennie, Riddle, Oregon. She passed away April 17,2004 after a courageous 20 year battle with cancer. Her loving kind husband Harold who she has now rejoined predeceased Elaine. She will be dearly missed by her eight children Judy Omelusik (Nick), Darryl (Judi), Leslie (Leona), Rick (Sandra), Lois (Brian Wilson, Glen (Kelly), Lisa Bauer (Scott), Lorne, nineteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her brother Dennis Rennie (Diana) and her sister Donna Hall, and her many special friends. She retired in 1994 after many years as secretary with Lake Cowichan School District #66. Elaine was active in the community and was especially proud of being a founding member of her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. She was a resident of Honeymoon Bay for thirty three years and resided in the Lower Mainland until her passing. She displayed her usual indomitable spirit to the end. Our wonderful mother’s life will be celebrated on April 22nd, 2004 at 11:00 am at the First Memorial Chapel, Brae Rd. Duncan. We invite those who wish to a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am.
