Amanda Nixon has won Cowichan Lake Idol 2017.
She won the honour and the trophy Sunday morning, Aug. 6, with Kirah Masayon finishing second, Jessie Porter third, and Lara Court fourth.
In a very special presentation, the Fab Four Finalists were able to sing on The Flats stage at Laketown Ranch during Sunfest, hearing their voices ring out over a powerful sound system.
Judge Kyle Hughes made the announcements onstage, while Katherine Worsley of the Cowichan Lake and District Chamber of Commerce, organizers of the event, presented the awards onstage.
