Saturday, Sept. 9 is the day and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. is the time to support Cowichan Valley Tour De Rock rider Kris Wood.
Grab a burger and a beer and listen to live music at the Riverside Inn to help raise funds for Camp Goodtimes.
Tickets are $25 a head and there’ll be a 50/50 draw and silent auction items to bid on.
Donations will go directly to sending kids to Camp Goodtimes. Tour de Rock is Sept. 23 to Oct. 6.
“One child with cancer is one too many,” say Tour de Rock organizers. “It takes a community to put a smile back on a kid’s face.”
