A well-loved family dog went missing some time during the evening of Wednesday, August 24, and her family wants her back.

A four-pound Miniature Pinscher that answers to the name Mimi is quite tiny for a three-year-old dog, owner Michelle Scullion said.

"She's outside most of the time, but she doesn't normally leave the yard," she said.

Her four-year-old son is devastated that his canine friend has gone missing.

The dog is noteworthy for having an odd ninth nipple by her belly. She has also been micro-chipped for easy recognition.

The dog went missing from the Scullion family's property at an area known as Three-Mile, a short distance outside of the Town of Lake Cowichan down the Old Lake Cowichan Road.

Anyone with information about the dog can call Michelle Scullion at 250-932-3588.
