Rival curlers fail to heed fair warning from Dangerfield

Dangerfield won $455, Chris Baier of Victoria earned $310, Josh Hozak of Victoria received $305, defending champion Jason Montgomery of Duncan and Wes Craig of Kerry Park each collected $255, and Sarah Wark’s Duncan ladies netted $190.

More than $1,800 in cash and prizes was dispersed.

Despite only having six teams, “it still worked out well,’’ said organizer Craig.

“Quite a few teams are heading to Cloverdale this weekend,’’ he added.
