A car show at Lake Cowichan was filled with sunshine brightening up polished chrome and more.
The event, which brought out 57 classic and cool cars and a bike from the area, raised more than $1,000 for a local charity.
Event sponsor, Amber Battles, owner of the A&W, was pleased with the turnout and already open to ideas on how to make the event bigger and better next year.
Suggestions of the inclusion other community groups was discussed as the car show was finishing up.
