Terry Fox run a resounding success

!Charlie Newman leads a group across the finish line at the Terry Fox Run. The numbers were impressive for the 2014 run on Sunday, September 14. Seventy-eight participants, and 26 volunteers made the annual run another success in Lake Cowichan. The run raised a total of $1,535 for the cause. The event has become a community family one at the lake with runners, walkers and kids on bikes joining in the event and then staying to enjoy hamburgers cooked up by the folks at Jake
